About Dance.tech

Dance.tech is in its 25th season of dance education in the NRV. Our facility is equipped with three dance studios, two large dressing rooms, faculty and children’s restrooms, our homework haven and snack area, and ample upstairs lobby space. These studios feature dance marley, spring wood floors, and host over 70 classes weekly. Classes can be viewed on CCTV in our lobby and it is our pleasure to invite guests into the classroom every six weeks for Family & Friends Visitors Week!

Educational Value

Dance students will achieve the physical attributes of coordination, poise, and grace; in addition to the discipline of the mind and body. Young students improve self-confidence, foster creativity, and expand social development in an inspiring learning environment. Research has shown that music and dance lessons improve a student’s cognitive development, which directly correlates to educational success. It is our goal to give each dancer the tools to develop a sense of responsibility and determination, becoming well-rounded, creative young adults through weekly technique classes, community projects, and local, regional, and national performances.

Faculty

Dance.tech faculty and staff are dedicated teachers who are committed to dance education excellence. Dance.tech employs professional instructors who boast degrees in Dance Performance, Education, Human Nutrition Food & Exercise, Human Development, and more. Teachers specialize in diverse dance techniques with the ability to train multi-dimensional dancers. In addition to their dance training faculty members go through annual More Than Just Great Dancing Teacher Training, focusing on reaching various learning styles, cultivating community, raising resilient dancers, leadership, and other topics that ensure we are growing great humans through dance. During the 2023-2024 dance year, we are thrilled to be going through Youth Protection Association in Dance certification as a studio, holding ourselves to the highest standards of safety and responsibility.
